Mobi’s collaborative AI platform consists of a collection of advanced AI tools that help our B2B partners in travel, tourism, and hospitality deliver next generation customer experiences that drive engagement, loyalty and revenue.
As Head of Design, I collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams as well as executive leaders to build 0→1 travel tech products.
I’m also responsible for managing the design team, including everything from mentorship to building team culture, defining the company’s UX strategy, and managing stakeholders.
DESIGN SYSTEM
We’re a B2B company that whitelabels our products, which means that we need an efficient way rebrand a product for our clients. One of my first initiatives at the company was to implement a multi-brand design system which consisted of 3 libraries:
1. Base component library
2. Style Library
3. Icon Library
By simply swapping style libraries, we can seamlessly switch to our clients’ branding without having to create new components. This significantly speeds up the workflow of both the Design and Front-end teams. We also maintain separate product-specific pattern libraries to ensure consistency while building new products and features.

Every major search engine has embraced new natural language capabilities powered by LLMs. That means millions of travelers ask for whatever they want in a new way, and expect to get exactly what they are looking for.
Intent Driven Search™ enables a whole new way for our clients (think hotel chains, airlines, etc.) to match the best product from their portfolio to the intentions of the traveler. We not only use an LLM, but also offer a suite of AI tools to enrich each search with a real-time understanding of our dynamic world—content about the property and world around it, routing for accessibility, and inventory for availability.
So far, we’ve launched this product with TUI Musement the world’s largest leisure, travel and tourism company - more to come!
